Set your timer anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes, choose your language (English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Hindi, or Portuguese), press Start, and type as many country names as you can. Each correct answer instantly highlights that country in green on the interactive world map. Scroll to zoom in on tricky regions, drag to pan, and double-click to reset the view. Country Quiz Time supports six languages: English, Spanish (Español), French (Français), Chinese (中文), Hindi (हिन्दी), and Portuguese (Português). This quiz includes 197 countries: 193 UN member states plus Vatican City, Palestine, Kosovo, and Taiwan. Western Sahara and other disputed or non-sovereign territories are shown on the map in a neutral colour and cannot be guessed — so you will never be left wondering why a region is not lighting up.
Most people can name between 60 and 100 countries from memory. Naming all 197 is a serious challenge even for geography enthusiasts. The most commonly forgotten regions are the Pacific island nations, the Caribbean, and Central Africa. Use the zoom feature to focus on these regions and jog your memory.
